Yes with newer computers coming out they all have really large hard drives relative to 2 years ago. This is due to the fact of larger operating systems and larger security software that requires way more space than they ever have before. So Yes in response to your question it is very important to still keep up your maintenance on the hard drive. Even though it is large and you can probably afford to waste some of it, to make sure you have your computer run the fastest you can possibly get it you have to have a clean hard drive.
